OCPS scores rise across the board in 2025 Spring Assessments
The Florida Department of Education released 2024–25 spring assessment results this week, with Orange County Public Schools posting significant gains across nearly all categories. OCPS students exceeded state averages in English, math, science, and end-of-course exams, with scores increasing or holding steady in 20 out of 21 tested areas.

Apopka celebrates renovated West Orange Trail Bridge with community event
The celebration featured a variety of activities, including a 2-mile community walk, run, and bike led by the Apopka Run Club.
