Apopka City Commissioner Nick Nesta announced Monday night that he will run for mayor in the 2026 municipal election, officially entering an already competitive four-person race. The Apopka Community Redevelopment Agency has completed its first home renovation through the new Residential Renovation Assistance Program, investing more than $24,000 in essential roof and window upgrades.
