Tijuana Flats fans will quickly notice the "new look" to the outside of the restaurant. Yes, that's right, the long-awaited awning has arrived and was installed just this morning!
Also, the signs have been attached to the building.
There is still work to be done on the inside, but all of the tables and chairs are in-place.
Kyle King, the General Manager of the new Apopka location told The Apopka Voice that he expected to be ready to open the doors on October 31st. The process of converting the old China Wok to a new Tijuana Flats began on May 6, 2016.
King is not a new face for local Tijuana Flats fans. He was formerly the manager of the Hunt Club location.
King is in the process of hiring staff for the new location. "People can go online or they can come by the restaurant for an interview," said King. "We will be here from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM almost every day."
