The agenda includes the second submittal of a major development plan for Floridian Town Center Multifamily Phase 1. The proposed apartment project would be located along Southfork Drive.

Floridian Apopka Phase 1 Owner LLC is listed as the property owner, with McIntosh Associates, an LJA company, serving as the applicant. The brief agenda does not specify the number of apartments included in the first phase.

The proposed route would travel from the church along Main Street to Park Avenue, then to First Street and Forest Avenue before returning to the church. The agenda lists an 8:30 am starting time.

A third special-event application is for Harvest Haunt, a three-day festival proposed by Orlando Renaissance Festival Inc. The event would take place from Oct. 16-18 at Edwards Field on East First Street, with activities scheduled from 4 to 10 pm.

The Development Review Committee consists of representatives from city departments involved in reviewing proposed developments and events. Its review can identify issues involving planning, utilities, transportation, public safety, and other city requirements before an application advances through the approval process.
