The meeting will begin at 9 am in the Apopka City Hall Commission Chambers. A public-comment period is scheduled before the committee begins reviewing site plans.
The Yothers Outparcel proposal calls for a 7,400-square-foot commercial building at 2050 Plymouth Sorrento Road. Dafflyn Property 2 LLC owns the property, and Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc. is listed as the applicant. The construction site plan is returning to the committee as a second submittal.
Two related Northwest Church projects at 1567 Plymouth Sorrento Road are also on the agenda.
One proposal calls for the construction of a 23,217-square-foot place of worship. Directions Fellowship Inc. owns the property, and Thomas and Hutton Engineering Co. is the applicant. The plan is listed as a second submittal.
The committee will separately review a first-submittal plan to reuse and retrofit the existing building footprint and structure at the same address. Directions Fellowship and Thomas and Hutton are also associated with that proposal.
The final scheduled project is Lester Oaks, a proposed seven-lot residential subdivision at 550 W. Lester Road. Christopher Williams is listed as the owner, and Faber Engineering is the applicant. The subdivision plan is returning for its second review.
The agenda also includes a section for additional discussion items, although no specific topics are listed.
Development Review Committee meetings give city departments an opportunity to review project plans and identify technical or regulatory issues before proposals advance through the development process. The agenda does not indicate that the projects will receive final approval at Wednesday’s meeting.
