The future of Apopka depends on those who vote, so please use this precious right and vote.
I would like to address a subject that has been very important to me since I was first elected to the City Council in 2014. I have been addressing the need for written administrative policies where they don’t exist. Many decisions have been made on the city council without the existing written policies. It’s my understanding that policies are written statements that address specific issues and outline the framework for whatever decision is made. To implement the policy's action, a clear procedure should be followed. I also believe these written policies should be accessible to all residents of Apopka, including businesses and others interested in being associated with the city.
As your representative on the city council, it’s imperative that our residents understand the policy and how it will be implemented. Our community deserves clear, easy-to-understand policies that are similar to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Our residents, the people who conduct business in Apopka, and those connected to our city should also be knowledgeable about these policies. In the end, everyone will benefit. Imagine a better understanding and less confusion.
One of my main reasons for asking for your vote is to allow me to continue this quest to achieve a complete understanding of Apopka’s policies for how the administration will govern and implement the needs of the city. This will ensure a vibrant, clean, safe, and fiscally strong city with a community that trusts its administration because of its transparent commitment.
As a dedicated public servant, I’m respectfully asking for your vote on March 10, 2026, because of my continued dedication and commitment to the community of Apopka and my desire to make our city a better place to live and raise a family. I participate in many events in our city. I‘m involved with many of the school programs and several organizations in our city. And, as many of you know, I have been accessible to all who have requested my assistance over the years. I consider your trust an honor.
