A French couple spotted and photographed a rare pink hippopotamus (below) in Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve, reports multiple sources.
The coloring is due to a condition called leucistic that causes pigmentation cells to develop improperly. Although it looks amazing to us, animals with this condition are at a huge disadvantage as it is easier for prey to spot them.
