From the City of Apopka
Get ready for a spooktacular morning of Halloween fun at Kit Land Nelson Park on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., when Apopka hosts its annual Trunk or Treat event. This free, family-friendly celebration invites children from infants to 12 years old to enjoy candy, games, and plenty of festive activities.

Families are encouraged to bring their own trick-or-treat bags as kids wander from creatively decorated vehicle trunks, collecting sweet treats and Halloween surprises along the way. In addition to the candy hunt, the park will feature kid-focused activities, giving children the chance to play, explore, and enjoy a safe Halloween experience in the community.
The event will also host a variety of vendors offering goodies, crafts, and family fun. The Vendor Inquiry Form is now closed, but the event team will contact those who applied soon. Vendors should be ready to accommodate up to 4,000 children, bringing their own tables, chairs, and supplies — all at no booth fee.
Organizers recommend families arrive early to make the most of the morning’s festivities. Dressing in costumes, packing a bag, and planning ahead will ensure children can fully enjoy the trick-or-treating and activities. Vendors are reminded to come prepared for a busy, bustling crowd.
Trunk or Treat is part of Apopka’s commitment to safe, community-centered events. It gives families a chance to come together, meet neighbors, and celebrate Halloween in a fun and organized way.
With candy, games, costumes, and a festive atmosphere, this year’s Trunk or Treat promises to be a highlight of the Halloween season. Don’t miss the fun — it’s going to be fang-tastic!
