A section of North Thompson Road will close to non-local traffic beginning Monday, August 10, as crews continue work on Apopka’s septic-to-sewer conversion program.

Residents who live on Thompson Road will continue to have access to their homes. Drivers who need to use Thompson Road to reach neighborhoods within the construction area also will be permitted to travel through the closure.

Other motorists should avoid the affected section and use an alternate route until the work is completed.
