Today is a BLUE Recycling day in Apopka

If your regular trash is picked up on Mondays and Thursdays your color is now Blue and TODAY is your recycling day!

According tot he City of Apopka the following items are NOT recyclable:

• PLASTIC BAGS
• STYROFOAM™
• WINDOW OR SHEET GLASS NO CERAMICS
• LIGHT BULBS
• SOLO CUPS
• FOOD CONTAMINATED PAPER
• HARDCOVER BOOKS
• PHOTOS
• PLASTIC HOSES OR TUBING NO TOYS or STRUCTURAL PLASTIC
• WAXED CARD BOARD BOXES
• METAL PIPES OR HARDWARE
• AUTOMOTIVE PARTS
• APPLIANCES
• HAZARDOUS FLUIDS LIKE, OIL, PESTICIDES, PAINT, CLEANERS ETC
• PACKING FOAM OR PLASTIC

Putting these materials or trash in your recycling could cause the whole load to be rejected by the processor.

If your regular trash is picked up on Tuesdays and Fridays your color is now Red and your recycling day is next Wednesday.
