The 2016 Summer Olympic Medal Count - Day 10
Team USA extended its lead over China on Day 10 by winning six medals on Day 10 to only one by China.
Gymnastics as well as track and field added to Team USA's medal count on Day 10. Allyson Felix's silver made her the most decorated track and field American female, Simone Biles and Laurie Hernandez both ended up on the podium for balance beam and Emma Coburn medaled in steeplechase to bring the United States' total to 75.
Great Britain continued to close the gap on China and is now only five medals away from the number 2 position on the medal count table.
For the first time no U.S. athlete won a Gold medal. Here is a a list of all six Day 10 U.S. medal winners:
