"An Important Update from Three Odd Guys Brewing (Apopka)
Dear loyal customers and friends,
After five years of serving the Apopka community, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the closure of our Three Odd Guys Brewing Apopka location on October 31, 2025. This was an incredibly difficult decision, and we are grateful for the support you have shown us since we first opened our doors during the COVID-19 pandemic.
-Our pizza operations have been discontinued effective immediately.
-The brewery will remain open and pouring your favorite craft beers through the end of October 2025.
-This decision is a result of the ongoing challenges small businesses face with rising operational costs.
-Our membership programs, existing orders, gift cards, and scheduled events will be honored at our other company locations such as: Three Odd Guys Brewing (Longwood, Florida) and Broken Strings Brewery (Orlando, Florida).
To celebrate the great memories we have made together, we invite you to join us for one last drink in Apopka before we close our doors. Please share your favorite moments with us on social media using [#3OGAPK]
Thank you again for your unwavering support and for helping us grow Apopka's craft beer scene. We look forward to seeing you in Longwood and Orlando.
With sincere gratitude,
The Three Odd Guys Brewing Team"
The post received 215 "likes" and 75 comments prior to the publication of this article, including Commissioner Diane Velazquez, Vice Mayor of Apopka, who recalled the history of Three Odd Guys and its importance to downtown.
"I remember when you and your partners opened 3 Odd Guys; the excitement for our City; it started the foot traffic to 5th Street. It was the start of our 5th Street downtown. It was the only place downtown for a long while for the candidates during those long campaign days and nights at the Apopka Community Center. We all survived those long days and night hours, having 3OG Pizza. I heard the rumors of your move; your post announcing the closure confirms it. Reading the comments, downtown Apopka is losing a thriving and successful business. Commercial rent increases can negatively impact and drive businesses to vacate. I know there were other contributing factors. Personally, I know your absence will leave a void in our downtown. I personally want to thank you, Darryl & 3 Odd Guys partners who dared and cared, by taking a leap of faith, investing, and starting 3 Odd Guys in Downtown Apopka. It’s been a Fun and memorable 5-year journey with a Pandemic that challenged small businesses' survival. You made it. It’s unfortunate that the Sale of the Commercial property resulted in an increase in Rent. Good Luck. I wish you & 3 Odd Guys continued Success. Your unique brewery and entertainment have made a name for themselves."
Michael Duran of the 2650 Foundation also lamented the brewery's closing in Apopka.
"This is incredibly disappointing. Thank you #3OGAPK for all you have done for the community. Thank you for supporting The 2650 Foundation and all of our 1st responders. You and your staff are top-notch and will be terribly missed in Apopka. Good fortune to you, and I will definitely now make the drive from Clermont to “StrongWood” Longwood."
Yesenia Leon Baron, a former candidate for Apopka City Council, also expressed disappointment at their departure.
"It's so sad to read this. Thank you for bringing life to downtown Apopka! Wishing you much success at the other locations."
As the Apopka location prepares to pour its final pints at the end of October, the outpouring of support from local leaders, patrons, and community organizations underscores the brewery’s lasting impact on downtown. While Three Odd Guys Brewing will continue its presence in Longwood and Orlando, its departure leaves a noticeable void in Apopka’s craft beer scene and downtown culture—a testament to the five years of memories, community gatherings, and neighborhood spirit the brewery helped create.
