The Dueling Pianos Extravaganza will take the stage Saturday, April 4, from 5 to 7 pm at the Apopka Amphitheater, delivering a high-energy mix of live music, comedy, and crowd participation.
Unlike a traditional concert, the dueling pianos format thrives on audience engagement. Attendees can request songs, sing along, and help guide the performance as two pianists go head-to-head, backed by a live drummer. The result is a fast-paced, unpredictable show that spans decades of music—from classic rock to today’s hits.
The performance features Piano Man Glenn Mack, a Long Island native who has performed in venues from New York City to The Hamptons and has become a staple at Walt Disney World resorts and Orlando-area hotels. He is joined by Keith Kobee, a veteran of the Orlando piano bar scene with performances at Universal CityWalk, Disney resorts, and cruise ships.
On drums, Jimi Pappas brings decades of experience performing with artists such as Chubby Checker and the Broadway cast of BeatleMania. A four-time Trop Rock Music Award winner, Pappas adds both rhythm and personality to the show.
The Dueling Pianos Extravaganza has entertained audiences across the country and internationally, including performances in Hawaii and Europe, and is known for its ability to create a lively, audience-driven atmosphere.
Saturday’s performance is part of Apopka’s broader Saturday Sounds Concert Series, which runs from October through May at the Apopka Amphitheater, located at 3710 Jason Dwelley Parkway. The free, family-friendly series features local artists and tribute bands covering genres ranging from country to rock.
The amphitheater offers 1,360 free seats, along with additional lawn space for guests who wish to bring blankets or chairs. Outside food and beverages are allowed, and food trucks are typically on-site offering a variety of options. Tents are not permitted.
The spring lineup continues with Apopka’s International Jazz Day on April 18, followed by performances from Fire Rhythms Band on May 2 and The Dave Matthews Tribute Band on May 16.
With its interactive format and wide-ranging setlist, Saturday’s show promises a unique experience for attendees of all ages—whether they come to sing along, dance, or simply enjoy a night of live music in the park.
