Republican Women Celebrate 10 Years in Apopka

Cindy Graves of FFRW will speak at NORWF's 10th Anniversary Celebration

Cindy Graves, a former 2-term president of the Florida Federation of Republican Women, who is also the fundraising chair of the National Federation of Republican swing-state, Rosie the Red bus mobile Headquarters, along co-chairing myriad campaign duties across the state. Graves, a former Jacksonville, FL, radio show host, will be the guest speaker to help celebrate the 10th-Anniversary of the Northwest Orange Republican Women, Federated, organization, at the Thursday, June 16 luncheon meeting, from 11:00 a.m.to 1 p.m., held at the Apopka Golf and Tennis at Errol Estate Country Club, 1335 Errol Parkway.

Cindy Graves republican womenRecently, Graves was elected Republican State Committee Woman, for Duval County, and will be a delegate at the Republican National Convention held July 18-21 in Cleveland, Ohio.

Joyce Brocker, NORWF president, "After reading about all of Cindy Graves accomplishments over the years, I can see why the Florida Republican Women increased its membership from 5 chapters to 60 clubs during Cindy's two terms of leadership. She will regale our luncheon guests with stories of helping Republican candidates from John McCain on down through the various presidential campaign trails in the past 11 years."

The cost of the meeting, which includes the luncheon, is $20. Brocker hopes that former NORWF members will want to make a note of the anniversary date and make their reservations to join in the celebration as well as hearing from current Republican candidates who are running for local and state offices and, will be speaking briefly at the meeting.
