From Quest, Inc.
Quest, Inc. – a nonprofit that helps people with developmental disabilities experience a full life – is recruiting volunteers to help run its second annual “Rodeo BBQ” on July 2.
Families will gather from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for exciting activities and delicious food at the nonprofit’s Training Center on 210 W. 4th St. in Apopka. Quest, Inc. is looking for up to 20 people to staff booths, where dozens of participants will be able to play games for a chance to earn prizes.
“We’re excited to work hand-in-hand with volunteers in the Apopka community for a day filled with laughter and smiles,” said John R. Gill, President and CEO at Quest, Inc. “With the CDC now estimating that 1 in 6 children in the U.S. have a developmental disability, it’s important for us to hold inclusive and positive community events that people of all abilities can enjoy.”
