Cyclists and nature lovers alike are invited to the Lake Apopka Eco-Bike Ride on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. This free community event allows riders to explore the stunning views and wildlife of the Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive and Loop Trail, located at 2850 Lust Road, Apopka, FL 32703.

The 8-mile round-trip route begins at the entrance of the Wildlife Drive. Participants can park at the Hickerson Property, located just to the right of the entrance. Designed as a family-friendly event, the ride welcomes cyclists of all skill levels who want to enjoy the fresh air, learn about local ecology, and experience the natural beauty of the Lake Apopka North Shore.

Organizers remind attendees to bring their own bicycles, as none will be provided on-site. Riders should also plan ahead by packing essentials such as water, sunscreen, insect repellent, helmets, sunglasses, and a cell phone. Reviewing the route map in advance and checking in at registration upon arrival are also encouraged for a smooth and safe experience.

Safety and environmental stewardship are key priorities. Participants are asked to wear helmets, stay hydrated, avoid disturbing wildlife, and watch for vehicle and cyclist traffic along the trail.
