Orange County to host 2024 Hurricane Expo: Beyond the Forecast

Living in Florida, preparing for hurricane season is of utmost importance.

With the state's vulnerable coastline, the potential for devastating storms poses a significant threat to both property and personal safety. Being proactive in securing supplies, creating a family emergency plan, and staying informed about evacuation routes can make a critical difference when a hurricane approaches.

In Orange County, there is help in properly preparing for the current hurricane season.

Orange County Government and the Office of Emergency Management will host the 2024 Hurricane Expo on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Evans High School from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. This year’s theme is “Beyond the Forecast.”
