Join Orange County Commissioner District 2 Christine Moore, the newly-formed group People of Wekiwa Springs (POWS), and mural artist and Apopka resident Delia Miller as they dedicate Ms. Miller’s creation at the intersection of Votaw and Thompson roads. Commissioner Moore’s vision for building strong neighborhoods includes locally-formed groups such as POWS promoting art and hosting events like the Easter Egg Hunt.

The mural dedication takes place Saturday, April 1st, at 9 a.m. at the Marathon Gas Station, 347 North Thompson Road in Apopka.

Beginning at 10:30 a.m. on the same day and date, across the street from the mural at the Votaw “Pop-Up” Park, join Commissioner Moore, The People of Wekiwa Springs, and nearly 30 vendors for the Inaugural Easter Egg Hunt in Wekiwa Springs.

A train ride, bounce houses, face painting, and more will welcome Easter Egg “hunters.” All children from babies to 12-year-olds are welcome to participate in this free event which ends at 12:30 p.m.
