Orange County Clerk Offers Affordable and Elegant Wedding Alternative

Posted

Engaged? Ready to take the plunge? Consider saying “I do” with the Orange County Clerk of Courts

June is the most popular month for couples to walk down the aisle, but with weddings in the United States costing an average of more than $30,000, you may be looking for a more affordable way to “tie the knot.” For the cost of a marriage license and $30.00 for a ceremony, couples can take their vows in one of our spectacular ceremony rooms.

At the Orange County Courthouse, our ceremony room consists of a gorgeous white flower ridden archway that romantically frames each couple as they take their vows during a simple and elegant ceremony. Neatly lined white chairs are available in the room for family and friends in attendance.

  • Apopka Branch: 1111 North Rock Springs Rd.
  • Ocoee Branch: 475 West Story Rd.
  • Winter Park Branch: 450 North Lakemont Ave.

At the branch locations in Goldenrod and Sand Lake, couples may choose to be married by a deputy clerk at one of our counters. Ceremonies may be performed in English or in Spanish.

Attention Florida residents. If you are planning to get married with the Orange County Clerk of Courts and have not taken a premarital preparation course, you must apply for a marriage license three days prior to your wedding ceremony. The cost for a marriage license is $93.50. Bring proof that you have completed a premarital preparation course, and that fee can be reduced to $61.00.
