Apopka dentist hosts free dental day for Veterans
Today, Friday, November 11th Dr. John Gammichia's office in Apopka is offering free dental work for Veterans.
Dr. Gammichia and student volunteers from the UCF Pre-Dental Student Association
"We are so excited to serve those who have served for us," said Dr. Gammichia. "We will be giving back to our veterans who are in need of fillings, extractions and teeth cleanings. With the help of other dentists we plan to see as many veterans as possible. We expect to have 12 dentists and two oral surgeons throughout the day and many other volunteers."
Free dental work for Veterans will take place from 0700 hours to 1600 hours 0n Friday.
That's 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM for those on civilian time.
The event is first come first served. There will be complementary food and drinks from Maitland Breakfast Club for the people waiting in line.
Veterans are being asked to bring proper veteran identification.
Dr. Gammichia's office is located at 450 Errol Parkway, Apopka FL 32712.
