No matter where you live, your child’s future can start in Orange County Public Schools. For the first time, Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) is opening Magnet and Scholastic Academy applications to all families, including those who live outside the district.
Beginning this week, families may apply during the Spring/Summer application window for some of OCPS’s most in-demand and innovative programs. Seats will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
OCPS Magnet and Scholastic Academies offer rigorous, specialized pathways designed to match students’ talents and passions, including programs in:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Aviation
- Law, Finance, and Criminal Justice
- ESports
- Medical Studies
- STEAM
- Gifted Education
- Performing Arts
“These programs are designed to prepare students for college, careers, and life,” said Michelle Thomas, director, School Choice Services. “By opening applications to all families, we are expanding access to high-quality, specialized education opportunities.”
