In 2005, local Apopka non-profit Candy's Cats was founded on the idea of "making life sweeter" within the Greater Orlando community for both the current residents and the stray kittens in search of their forever homes. While there are only a few requirements to volunteer with Candy's Cats, the time and effort of each volunteer makes a BIG impact on the cats and kittens in the care of the Apopka non-profit. For example, Foster Volunteers provide a temporary home for rescued cats while they find their forever homes. The more foster volunteers available, the more cats saved!
