At 11:30 AM today the City of Apopka released the following announcement on its Facebook Page:
HOLIDAY SCHEDULE UPDATE: With Christmas falling on a Sunday, the City of Apopka is closed today, Monday, Dec. 26, 2016. Normal business hours and normal garbage collection service will resume Tuesday, Dec. 27.
The announcement was also posted on other social media including Nextdoor.
