New restaurant coming to Apopka

Eggs up Grill coming to town in the fall

Posted

Eggs Up Grill, a rapidly growing breakfast, brunch, and lunch concept, will open a new restaurant in Apopka this fall, located at 502 S. Hunt Club Blvd. The restaurant will be the first for franchise partners, and Orlando residents, Geoff Giordano and Kate Rozen. They plan to open two more restaurants in Orlando, with their second location coming to the new area of O-Town West on Daryl Carter Parkway.

Prior to joining Eggs Up Grill, Giordano worked with Marriott International for 13 years, most recently serving as a manager of food and beverage at Orlando World Center Marriott. Rozen, who has worked with leading Fortune 100 companies, brings 25 years of marketing and branding expertise to the new family business. She worked as a global brand leader for large ad agencies in New York City and now serves as owner for Brandscape.

Giordano and Rozen came across Eggs Up Grill while searching for a business opportunity on New Year’s Eve 2019. And fresh into the new year, they fell in love with the brand, the leadership, and the opportunity to own a profitable business in the breakfast segment that values family and community.

“Our family is our top priority, so being able to combine our entrepreneurial spirit with a brand that is conducive to family life was exactly what we were looking for,” says Giordano.

“There are so many distinguishing parts of the brand that set it apart, including a bright and warm feeling when you step in the door, and a focus on friendliness that just fits with our personality,” Rozen added. “We can’t wait to begin serving our neighbors this fall.”

With indoor seating for 121, plus an outdoor patio, the 3,200 square-foot restaurant is designed to make guests feel at home in a light, bright and cheerful atmosphere. There will also be counter seating and other communal options.  The Apopka restaurant will serve guests seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., with dine-in, online ordering, takeout, catering and delivery options available.

Eggs Up Grill will cater events big or small, with a menu featuring breakfast favorites like eggs, grits, home fries, biscuits and gravy and muffins. Burgers, wraps and salads are available for catered lunch.

The Apopka restaurant will hire 25 employees and will begin conducting interviews later this fall. Those interested can apply at eggsupgrill.com. The restaurant also hopes to employ local military veterans. For more information, follow @EUGApopka on Instagram and Facebook.
