Netflix is ending 2025 the way many of us will end the year: under a blanket, glued to the screen. December’s lineup is one of the streamer’s most stacked in recent memory, with major finales, buzzy originals, and a blizzard of holiday comfort watches arriving almost every day of the month.

The month opens on December 1 with a mix of heavy and cozy. Short documentary All The Empty Rooms examines the bedrooms of children lost to school shootings, while families get new episodes of CoComelon Lane Season 6 and reality fans meet Love Is Blind: Italy, the franchise’s Italian spin on blind dating. That same day, Netflix drops a haul of classic films—Pulp Fiction, The Wolf of Wall Street, the Kung Fu Panda trilogy, Downton Abbey, and more—perfect for background viewing through the holidays.

The first week continues with stand-up (Matt Rife: Unwrapped), the holiday rom-com My Secret Santa on December 3, prestige western series The Abandons on December 4, and Adam Sandler–George Clooney drama Jay Kelly on December 5, joined by companion doc The New Yorker at 100 and thriller The Price of Confession.

Mid-month brings documentary Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within (December 9) and, on December 12, the big mystery play: Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, alongside Home for Christmas Season 3.

On December 18, Emily in Paris Season 5 returns with more fashion, romance, and questionable professional choices, while December 22 spotlights Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway in the aptly titled doc Elway. Christmas week leans emotional with family drama, Goodbye June on December 24, then cranks up the volume as Stranger Things 5 Volume 2 lands December 25. The saga finally ends on December 31 with a feature-length finale, giving fans one last trip to Hawkins before the ball drops in 2025.
