See native plants in home landscapes

The annual tour offers an opportunity to see how native plants look in residential settings and talk with homeowners and volunteers about plants for birds and pollinators. Four homes are new to this year’s tour, while four return from last year.

Participants can explore different approaches to bird-friendly landscaping and consider ideas for their own properties. The event flyer also highlights feeder yards among the landscapes on display.

Orange Audubon is organizing the tour with co-sponsors Wild Birds Unlimited in Winter Springs and the Tarflower Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society.

Register early for gated-community access

Tickets cost $15, and up to two children ages 8-16 may accompany a registered adult at no additional charge. All tickets must be purchased online.

Organizers ask participants to register before October 2 to be included on the entry list for one home in a gated community. We will email a map with addresses several days before the event so participants can plan their routes.

Registration and payment are available at orangeaudubonfl.org/yards-tour/. For additional information, email info@orangeaudubonfl.org or call 407-637-2525.
