Update #2:
Armando E. Vandyke, the missing 16-year old from Apopka, was found Friday at The Orlando Regional Medical Center according to the Apopka Police Department’s Public Information Office.
According to a report released by the Florida Highway Patrol a driver with a car registered to Walt Disney Parks and Resorts hit Vandyke. He was improperly riding his motor scooter on the sidewalk and the driver of the SUV was turning into a driveway, the driver failed to yield and hit Vandyke.
The teen’s condition is not immediately known.
The crash is still under investigation.

Missing Child Alert
The Apopka Police Department needs the public’s help in locating a missing juvenile. ARMANDO E. VANDYKE is a 16 year old black male, 5’9” tall and 250 lbs. Armando was last seen on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. on Piedmont Park Blvd. in Apopka.
He was last seen on a red, white and blue motorized electric scooter, wearing a red Jordan shirt and black shorts. Armando was going to a local fitness center, and never arrived. He attends Wekiva High School.
