Marc Mero inspires his Wolf Lake Middle School audience

From Caroll Grimando - Wolf Lake Middle School Principal

Marc Mero, Former WWE Wrestling Champion and Author of “How to be the Happiest Person on the Planet,” reached the pinnacle of sports-entertainment success – then lost it all — but in the process discovered what’s most important in life. Everyone faces adversity. “It’s not how many times you get knocked down, it’s how many times you get back up. You can do anything you set your mind to!”

Mero shares his captivating journey with audiences worldwide and inspires people to examine their life choices. Listeners feel a greater sense of appreciation toward their relationships and the “gift of time” – and are empowered to make a difference in their personal life, school, career, and community. As the founder of the nonprofit organization, Champion of Choices, Marc dedicates his life to helping others be the “Champion” they’re destined to be! The Time is Now! Get ready to be inspired!

Marc Mero visited Wolf Lake Middle School earlier this month to inspire the students to make positive choices and to set goals. This was a powerful message that made a big impact on the students. Mero shared his life story and the lessons he learned from looking back on his choices - both good and bad. As a child, Mero wrote down his life goals in a journal and talked about how this helped him to stay focused on the accomplishments he wanted to achieve in his life.

He encouraged the students to also do this and to set high expectations.

Students were given the opportunity to reflect on his presentation and write down their own goals. This would be a great conversation to have with your child over the holiday break and to hear their thoughts on Mr. Mero's presentation.

Mero had an awesome time hanging out with M.A.R.V.E.L. (left). He also became their newest member.
