Random Acts of Kindness Week is an annual celebration encouraging people to spread kindness through small, thoughtful actions. It takes place during the second full week of February, with Random Acts of Kindness Day observed on February 17. The week is promoted by the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation (RAK), a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering kindness in communities, schools, and workplaces.
During this week, individuals, schools, and organizations engage in various acts of kindness—like paying for someone's coffee, leaving kind notes, volunteering, or simply offering a smile—to create a ripple effect of positivity. The idea is to remind people that even small gestures can make a big impact.
