Katy is a positive role model & teacher to her reading students. She motivates them to want to read on their own. She has a passion for her craft and everyone that meets her and visits her class leaves with a smile! Piedmont Lakes is blessed to have her.
Each year the Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce honors the hard work of the teachers in our community. The teachers at each school in the community vote for one of their own to be honored as the Teacher of the Year.
