July was a busy month for Candy's Cats

National Adoption Week a successful partnership with Pet Smart

Posted

July has been a busy month for Apopka non-profit Candy’s Cats.

From July 11th -17th, Candy’s Cats celebrated a successful National Adoption Week in partnership with PetSmart Charities. Candy’s Cats matched 10 kitties with their forever homes between the PetSmart Winter Garden and their newly reopened Adoption Cottage location. The Adoption Cottage recently underwent renovations to allow for more cats to be housed while they await their new homes.

While the organization is always excited to match cats with their loving new families, there are still 46 kittens that are preparing for adoption. To see the complete list of adoptable kitties, please go here.

Candy’s Cats also partnered with Texas Roadhouse - Ocoee for a delicious fundraising event on July 20th. The event featured photo opportunities with Texas Roadhouse’s Andy Armadillo and Candy’s Cats mascot, CC the Cat. If you were unable to attend the event, but would still like to support Candy’s Cats as they continue their mission, please go here.
