Apopka gave him the key to the city, but now Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle and Apopka native Jalen Carter is giving back to his hometown in a big way.
On Saturday, July 12th, Carter will host a free youth football camp at Apopka High School at 555 S. Forest Avenue. The camp starts at 10:00 a.m. and is open to boys and girls ages 8 to 17.
Registration is available through Eventbrite.
Participants will participate in football skills and drills led by Carter and a team of experienced coaches and athletes. As part of the day's activities, each camper will receive free giveaways, a custom camp t-shirt, lunch, and performance training. The event is designed not just to teach the game but to inspire youth through mentorship and connection with one of Apopka’s brightest stars.
