Helen Lanham - Sheeler High School Teacher of the Year
Ms. Lanham truly loves being a teacher. She retired after 30 years of teaching, but could not stay away. She works tirelessly to help her students progress through their courses and achieve their ultimate goal of graduating high school. Ms. Lanham is admired by her peers and adored by her students, and we are proud to have her represent Sheeler as our 2016 Teacher of the Year.
Each year the Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce honors the hard work of the teachers in our community. The teachers at each school in the community vote for one of their own to be honored as the Teacher of the Year. The school Administrator wrote the above testimonial on behalf of the Honoree’s peers.
