Goodwill Industries of Central Florida (GICF) – in collaboration with WFTV 9 Family Connection – is once again holding a summer collection drive to assist families facing food insecurity.
Between now and July 11, non-perishable staples, such as peanut butter, beans, rice, canned meats and vegetables, can be dropped off at any Goodwill store in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. Donations will be divided between two other local nonprofit organizations: Annabel’s Closet, which assists individuals leaving abusive situations, and United Against Poverty, which empowers Central Floridians to achieve sustainable economic self-sufficiency through a range of programs and services.
