From Goodwill Industries of Central Florida
Thanksgiving is more than just a day for turkey and pumpkin pie; it's a heartfelt celebration of gratitude that encourages us to pause and reflect on the blessings in our lives. As friends and family gather around the dining table, they share stories, laughter, and cherished memories, creating a sense of togetherness that makes this holiday truly special. In a world that often feels rushed, Thanksgiving invites us to slow down and appreciate the simple joys of connection and community.

In the true spirit of the season, Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is giving thanks to its donors and shoppers.
On Saturday, Nov. 23, the nonprofit will host a “Thanks for Giving” event that encourages donors to “unstuff” ahead of the holidays. Some of the most in-demand items include sneakers and other shoes, clothes, electronics, and small appliances, such as coffee machines and blenders.
Donating to and shopping at Goodwill locations across Orange, Osceola, Lake, Seminole, Volusia and Brevard counties helps create quality jobs and support employment training programs while also keeping millions of pounds of household waste from reaching local landfills.
