Greetings,
Spring is in the air! With the arrival of longer days and warmer weather, now is the perfect time to get outdoors and enjoy one of the many events, festivals and parades taking place in Orange County, including the Florida Puerto Rican Parade and Festival. This annual event, which takes place on the streets of downtown Orlando, celebrates the culture and contributions of our growing Puerto Rican community.

April also marks the return of one of my favorite events, #407Day. On April 7, all residents are encouraged to support their favorite neighborhood restaurants and shops in honor of our region’s longtime area code. It is also a great opportunity to explore one of our beautiful parks and trails. Be sure to share photos and videos of your favorite #407Day locations with us on social media!
We have also begun celebrating Earth Month, spotlighting our sustainability and conservation efforts in Orange County. Be sure to visit our Earth Month website to learn more about the educational and engaging events we have planned over the next few weeks.
