Are you ready for a new bulk of shows and movies to watch with your Prime membership? Of course you are, and July is going to bring some of the best content ever. We’re looking at new Amazon originals, great movies, and lots more.
We start with the exciting new addition on Friday, July 7. It’s all about The Horror of Dolores Roach, which brings us a contemporary retelling of Sweeney Todd. Yes, it’s all about cannibalism as Dolores Roach does what she needs to survive after getting out of prison after a 16-year stint. Some people just can’t stay on the right side of the law.
Ready for another season of a YA romance? The Summer I Turned Pretty is the place to turn. Belly is back, and this time she needs to make a choice. Conrad and Jeremiah are fighting over her. But there’s something much bigger going on. Susannah’s cancer has returned. We found that out in the first season. While Susannah dies between the books, it looks like the series is opting to change that part of the storyline slightly.
What about a fantasy series on Prime Video? Good Omens arrives at the end of the month. The second season will see Aziraphale and Crowley team up once again. They’ve been through the apocalypse together, so of course, when there’s another unexpected problem, they rely on each other. In this one, Gabriel turns up at the bookshop with no memory of who he is. Crowley and Aziraphale will need to figure out what’s happened to the archangel.
