Leading the month's releases is the return of Avatar: The Last Airbender, which premieres its second season on June 25. The live-action adaptation became one of Netflix's most-watched series when it debuted and now returns to continue Aang's journey through the Earth Kingdom.

Another major returning series is Sweet Magnolias, which returns for its fifth season on June 11. The feel-good drama has become one of Netflix's most reliable comfort-watch hits and remains a favorite among romance and family-drama audiences.

Movie fans will find plenty to watch as well. One of Netflix's biggest original film releases of the month is Office Romance, a romantic comedy starring Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein that debuts June 5. The film has already generated significant buzz thanks to its star-studded cast and summer release window.

The service is also adding a large collection of licensed films and franchises. Among the most notable arrivals are the Creed trilogy, several Rocky films, The Big Lebowski, Little Miss Sunshine, Cinderella Man, Rudy, and numerous family-friendly favorites.

Documentary and true-crime viewers can look forward to Michael Jackson: The Verdict, a documentary series examining the singer's highly publicized legal battles. Netflix is also continuing to expand its sports documentary offerings as the World Cup approaches.

Animation remains a major focus throughout the month. New episodes and seasons arrive for several anime and animated properties, while younger viewers can enjoy additional family programming, including new content from the Sesame Street universe and continued installments of Pokémon Horizons.

June also features several new original series, including the thriller I Will Find You, based on a novel by bestselling author Harlan Coben. The limited series continues Netflix's successful partnership with the mystery writer and is expected to be one of the month's most-watched drama releases.

Whether viewers are looking for blockbuster movies, comfort dramas, documentaries, anime, or family entertainment, June shapes up as one of Netflix's busiest months of the year.
