Hulu is entering August 2025 with one of its most varied and exciting months yet. At the top of the slate is Alien: Earth, a highly anticipated sci‑fi horror limited series created by Noah Hawley and executive‑produced by Ridley Scott. The first two episodes will premiere on August 12, and the series will air weekly for eight episodes.

Before that, on August 4, Hulu revives King of the Hill with its first new season in 15 years. The animation follows retired Hank Hill adjusting to modern life and reconnecting with Arlen friends, while Bobby now pursues a career as a chef in Dallas.
True‑crime fans get The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox, an eight‑episode dramatization launching August 20. Starring Grace Van Patten and co‑produced by Amanda Knox herself, the series retells her wrongful conviction and aftermath, sparking conversation around media bias and personal narrative. Also arriving: Hulu Originals Capturing Their Killer: The Girls on the High Bridge (Aug 5), Ted Bundy: Dialogue with the Devil (Aug 7), Stalking Samantha: 13 Years of Terror (Aug 19), Ruby Red Handed: Stealing America’s Most Famous Pair of Shoes (Aug 26), Love Thy Nader (Aug 27) and Imported, a documentary premiere (Aug 28).
Fans of the original film get Eenie Meanie, a high‑octane heist thriller starring Samara Weaving, arriving August 22. Adding breadth to the catalog, Hulu will stream 104 films and 68 TV shows during August—including hits like John Wick (Chapters 1–4), Kick‑Ass, The Devil Wears Prada, Forrest Gump, Ice Age, along with anime Oshi No Ko and Call of the Night, reality staples like Undercover Boss and Alone, and new anime original YAIBA: Samurai Legend.
August's Hulu offerings deliver something for virtually every viewer, from sci‑fi and satire to revival comedy, true crime, anime, and documentaries.
