Everything coming to DisneyPlus in November

Posted

As the month of Halloween-themed viewings ends, people are slowly transitioning and getting ready for the next holiday season. For streaming on Disney+, this marks a transitionary month with little new content on offer. Still, the month offers a few treats, including the continuation of the Spanish series Ayla and The Mirrors, reflecting Disney's continued push to appeal to a diverse audience. With Thanksgiving around the corner, one of Disney's favorite families, the Green Family, tackles the holiday in a single-release episode of Big City Greens. The original documentary from National Geographic, Tsunami: Race Against Time, offers insight into one of the biggest natural disasters of 2004, the Indian Ocean tsunami.

For the littlest of ones in the family, new episodes of SuperKitties: Su-Purr Adventures, Kindergarten: The Musical, and Disney Jr.’s Ariel all come out this month. To start getting in the holiday spirit, Mickey and Minnie's Christmas Carols will have your kids singing when new episodes are released at the end of the month. For the adults, Dancing with the Stars continues its 33rd season. At the same time, The Stanford Prison Experiment: Unlocking the Truth offers new episodes digging into one of the most controversial social experiments ever conducted. Here are Disney+'s highlights of November, along with a list of everything coming to the platform.

Ayla & The Mirrors

New Episodes Streaming on November 1

Living in the upper class of society, Ayla's life is upended by the loss of her father and memory loss due to an accident. This leads the young girl to a shelter where she must rediscover herself. Here, she meets a new friend in Inés and the dance group known as Los Mirror, which allows her to express herself. At the same time, Ayla learns she can see people's emotions through what she calls "musical daydreams." Ayla begins a path of healing by relying on her friends' help and her ability to see the world as a musical.

Disney has continued to expand its catalog by offering content to every fan. Ayla & The Mirrors is Disney's second Spanish-language show made for the streaming platform, and it has already garnered praise for its compelling storylines and entertaining musical/dance numbers. Five new series episodes drop on November 1 (26 to 30), but fans can catch up as previous episodes are all available to stream on Disney+. The show also comes in dub and sub-formats, making it easy for anyone to dance and sing along with Ayla and her friends; it is also an excellent show for youths wanting to learn the language. Ayla & The Mirrors continues on Disney+ on Nov. 1.
