Everything coming to Disney+ in April

April showers… don’t matter if you’re sat inside watching TV.

This spring, Disney+ continues the rollout of “Daredevil: Born Again” and soon welcomes the return of “Andor” Season 2 (and achieving the rare astrological phase in which both Marvel and Star Wars are active on the streamer). Plenty of shows and movies will also join the Hulu library; the Emmy-winning original series “The Handmaid’s Tale” returns after a three-year hiatus with its sixth and final season, and FX will premiere the limited series “Dying for Sex” starring Michelle Williams and Jenny Slate (based on the podcast from Molly Kochan and Nikki Boyer).

Top Pick: “Andor” Season 2

The Emmy-nominated (and IndieWire-beloved) series from Tony Gilroy returns for its second and final season this spring, with Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) getting increasingly involved in the Rebel Alliance as time ticks toward the events of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” and his prewritten fate. The 12-episode season will be divided into four chapters, each one comprising three episodes (similar to Season 1’s structure). Ahead of the second installment, Season 1 is also available on Hulu, and the first three episodes on YouTube. Don’t miss the series IndieWire calls “rousing fantasy revolution with pointed real-world parallels.”
