The Old Florida Outdoor Festival today announced country music recording artist Drake White and The Big Fire as part of the expanded, three-day concert lineup. White has been a popular touring artist for years, opening for musicians like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Luke Bryan, Eric Church and the Zac Brown Band. His latest album, It Feels Good, features the new radio tune “Livin’ the Dream.”
He will perform in the afternoon of Sunday, Feb. 14, with opening acts starting at 3 p.m. The fifth annual Old Florida Outdoor Festival is scheduled Feb. 12-14 at Apopka’s Northwest Recreation Complex, 3710 Jason Dwelley Parkway in Apopka. Parmalee will perform on Feb. 12. The group’s debut country album, “Feels Like Carolina,” earned critical praise from news media and the music industry. In 2014, Parmalee earned a semi-finalist nod for the Academy of Country Music’s coveted “New Artist of the Year” award and a 2014 Teen Choice Award nomination for “Choice Country Group.”
Grammy-nominated country crooner Chris Young headlines the second day of music on Feb. 13.
Young is an accomplished performer with a growing string of hit songs. The Grammy-nominated recording artist produced four big albums with chart toppers “Gettin’ You Home,” “The Man I Want to Be,” “Voices,” “Tomorrow,” “You” and “Who I Am With You.” The song “I’m Comin’ Over” adds to his considerable success with an upcoming fifth album.
Young earned six No. 1 singles and seven gold/platinum certifications through country music radio. He won the British Country Music Award International Act of the Year. He also won the television singing program Nashville Star.
The Old Florida Outdoor Festival is one of the state’s biggest celebrations of outdoor sports and recreation complimented by top country music acts and championship barbecue. The three-day event will feature all-new rodeo demonstrations with professional competitors and crowd participation courtesy of Osceola County and National Championship Finals Rodeo.
