The mobile clinic will be stationed at the Community Health Center, located at 210 E. Seventh St., Apopka, providing convenient access to mammograms for women who may otherwise face financial or insurance barriers to preventive care.

To qualify for a free mammogram, participants must meet all eligibility requirements, including being between the ages of 40 and 64, having a household income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level, lacking health insurance coverage for breast cancer screening, and being a Florida resident. Women ages 40 to 49 may also qualify if they have a parent, sibling, or child who has had breast cancer.

The screenings are offered through the Florida Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program, which provides access to preventive services for uninsured or underinsured women across the state. The program focuses on early detection, which significantly improves treatment options and survival rates.

Women who wish to determine their eligibility or schedule a screening are encouraged to call 407-858-1421. Additional information is available through DOH-Orange.
