From Staff Reports
Disney+ subscribers can look forward to a dynamic slate of premieres in September 2025, offering something for families, superhero fans, and international drama lovers alike.
The month begins with one of the platform’s most anticipated releases: the live-action remake of Lilo & Stitch (Sept. 3), bringing the beloved animated classic to a new generation with a mix of heartfelt storytelling and modern visual effects. From there, Disney+ shifts gears with Tempest (Sept. 10), a Korean spy thriller promising sleek action and political intrigue.
Music fans will be drawn to Electric Bloom (Sept. 17), a dramedy set in the high-energy world of teen performers, while Marvel fans finally get their dose of undead action in Marvel Zombies (Sept. 24), the darkly comic animated series expanding the MCU’s multiverse. That same week, Lost Treasures of Egypt returns with breathtaking archaeological discoveries. Closing out the month is The Murky Stream (Sept. 26), a lavish Korean period drama blending history and human struggle.
With this variety, Disney+ balances nostalgia, pop culture spectacle, and global storytelling—all in one month. September 2025 could be one of the service’s most eclectic and exciting streaming lineups yet.
