Breaking News Overnight: Motorcyclist seriously injured after a single-vehicle collision in Flagler County

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle collision in Flagler County this morning that resulted in a motorcyclist suffering serious injuries.

According to the FHP report, at approximately 2:20 am, a 46-year-old East Boston, MA man riding a motorcycle and traveling southbound on State Road A1A, south of South 28th Street, ran off the roadway.

The motorcycle became airborne and overturned. The rider was thrown off the motorcycle and into the roadway.

The rider was transported to a local hospital due to serious bodily injuries.

The FHP did not release the motorcyclist's name involved in the crash.
