Breaking News Overnight: Brooksville woman hit and killed by vehicle in Hernando County

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a collision last night in Hernando County that resulted in the death of a pedestrian.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 9:46 PM, a 55-year-old Hernando Beach man was driving an Audi E-Tron westbound on County Line Road.
West of Mariner Boulevard, a pedestrian attempted to cross the highway. The 49-year-old Brooksville woman entered the path and was struck by the vehicle.
The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
The FHP did not release the name of the driver or pedestrian involved in the collision.
