Breaking News: Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive to reopen this weekend

Posted

Maintenance on the Baily bridges at Country Road 448A has been completed ahead of schedule and the St. Johns River Water Management District will reopen the Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive to vehicular traffic Saturday, April 1.

The drive is a one-way, 11-mile drive meandering through the eastern portion of the District’s Lake Apopka North Shore property. Visitors will want to plan for approximately one to three hours to complete the experience, depending on the usage and how many stops they choose to make along the way. Stopping is limited to designated pull-outs provided along the length of the drive.

The Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive entrance gate is open for vehicular traffic between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and federal holidays. All vehicles must exit the drive by 5 p.m.

Okay, it did post, so another Apopka business has closed, and is empty. The clothing shop, Rainbow, that was in the old Apopka Land Regional Shopping Center. I went to buy some new hoop earrings. Maybe DeSantis shut them down for all of the rainbow clothing they sold, LOL.

My stitches have been removed, yesterday. The wound is looking much better, and is healing fast, considering I am a diabetic. The horizonal wound near my hairline has a way to go though. Surgeon said it should smooth down in a month. Still has some swelling and discoloration, but much better. Now Trump has been put on notice to be arrested, and I have drank all my beer up, depressed over this surgery,. and waiting on them to decide what to do with Mr. Trump. I think DeSantis is behind it, yeah, I do He is a snake. So Disney had a plan to fight back DeSantis, before DeSantis even knew it, wow, this is so cool. I couldn't believe Disney wasn't going to fight back DeSantis, but now I know why! I love it!

Read about cities in Florida going broke on the internet. Check it out. Miami and Jacksonville are so in trouble, and can't pay their debts. So extremely in debt! Tampa is doing great, and has a surplus, as well as Orlando. This should make city councils all over Florida think twice about wasting money and spending, spending, spending like money grows on trees.

I had just read that the Lake Apopka Loop was going to be close indefinitely until further notice, then see it is going to be open this weekend? That was fast.
