Breaking Morning News: One dead, four seriously injured after a single-vehicle collision in Volusia County

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle collision this morning in Volusia County that resulted in the death of a passenger.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 10:49 am, a 2018 Lincoln Navigator driven by a 61-year-old Hoboken, GA man was traveling westbound on Interstate 4 in the inside lane. For an unknown reason, the vehicle ran off the roadway left onto the median shoulder, and struck a tree.
The driver and three passengers were transported to Halifax Health Medical Center with serious injuries. One of the passengers, a 54-year-old Hoboken woman, was pronounced deceased on the scene
This crash remains under investigation.
The FHP did not release the names of the driver or passengers involved in the collision.
