I haven't been to the one in Apopka yet, but have been to the one in Clermont, and used to go to the one in Altamonte Springs on 436, before you get to I-4. That one closed. I like their food, but the biscuits are kind of heavy duty, not light at all, and somewhat greasy. A lot of new businesses opening around in Apopka. I was surprised to see that the self -serve checkouts were gone in the new Aldi. All the stores pushed them on the shoppers, and I resisted, but then I got used to them, and liked them, now they are doing the switch-a-roo on us, by not putting them in there. I was going to use the restroom, until I saw two restrooms, and both, were for men and women. How crappy is that?!! Also, they do not honor customer's Medicare Advantage benefit cards, that allows food purchases as a perk, for being a senior citizen. They need to except them like WInn Dixie, Publix, and Sav A Lot does. One thing that is an improvement over the one on 436, is that the lunch meats, and other items are behind the glass doors to stay colder longer than like on 436, where they are out in the open- air refrigerators.
