Baptiste Orthodontics building long-lasting relationships with patients and the community

Posted

"At Baptiste Orthodontics, it is all about you and your smile!"

That is how our company vision statement starts.

It applies not only to our patient's dental health but also to the community we serve.

The second line in our vision statement goes:

"Our goal is to build long-lasting relationships with our patients based on trust, respect, great patient care, and service."

We have formed long-lasting relationships with the community we serve by partnering with over 40 public schools and community groups in Orange County, including right here in Apopka. To see some of our favority memories at Dream Lake Elementary, Apopka Memorial Middle, and Wekiva High Schools in Apopka, check out this article for details on one of our favorite annual engagements with Apopka students!

Just as we love serving and supporting teachers, students and schools in Apopka, we also reach out and work with several other Orange County schools as well.

For instance, you may not know that May is typically a slow month for the dental industry as most parents are focused on graduations, testing, and end-of-year celebrations. But this is great news for us because it means our staff and doctors get that time to be part of these celebrations! This month alone, Dr. Baptiste has awarded over $4,500 in scholarships and grants to seven deserving students from Orange County. He also attended the Senior Awards night at Evans High School, Ocoee High School, and Olympia High School, where he had the honor to present these students with their scholarships in person.

Dr. Baptiste also celebrated with students from West Pointe Elementary at their end-of-year Character celebration, which is always a fun night.

If you follow Andre the Farmer on Social Media (or read his articles here in The Apopka Voice), you will also see his work with Oak Hill Elementary. Since January, he has worked with a group of 4th and 5th graders to create a beautiful garden. And on May 17th, they will have their final day in the garden, where hopefully, they will harvest some of the items they planted together!

Sports, math, science, character development, drama, music, and teacher appreciation are just a few of the programs that Baptiste Orthodontics supports in our schools every year.

This year we were honored by three Orange County Public schools who chose us as their Partner of the Year! These schools included Sunridge Middle, Westpointe Elementary, and Palm Lake Elementary. Our staff always loves to receive these recognitions and proudly displays the plaques and trophies in our offices.

These special celebrations in May are emblematic of what we do every month with our community. We support schools financially and, more importantly, with our time. It is who we are and part of the company culture we seek to foster every day.

So, as this school year comes to an end, the staff at Baptiste Orthodontics will catch our breath a little and then get ready for the summer, where we start planning for another great school year. And of course, the summer is also a great time to visit our orthodontics and pediatric dentist offices.

But that is the topic for our next article, so stay tuned!

Like our vision statement says, "It is about you and your smile." We can honestly say that the smiles we get each time we go to your schools - in Apopka and beyond - are truly worth it.
